AUIRS2301S www.irf.com ? 2009 international rectifier 11 tolerability to negative vs transients the AUIRS2301S has been seen to withstand negative v s transient conditions on the order of -25v for a period of 100 ns (v bias (v cc , v bs ) = 15v and t a = 25c). an illustration of the AUIRS2301S performance can be seen in figure 4. even though the AUIRS2301S has been s hown able to handle these negative v s transient conditions, it is highly recommended that the circuit des igner always limit the negative v s transients as much as possible by careful pcb layout and component use. vs (v) -30 -20 -10 0 figure 4: -vs transient results
AUIRS2301S www.irf.com ? 2009 international rectifier 12 parameter temperature trends figures illustrated in this chapter provide information on the experimental performanc e of the AUIRS2301S hvic. the line plotted in each figure is generated from actual lab data. a large number of individual samples were tested at three temperatures (-40 oc, 25 oc, and 125 oc) in order to generate the experimental cu rve. the line consists of three data points (one data point at each of the tested temperatures ) that have been connected together to illustrate the understood trend. the individual data points on the typ. curve were det ermined by calculating the averaged experimental value of the param eter (for a given temperature). 100 150 200 250 300 -50 -25 0 25 50 75 100 125 turn-on propagation delay (ns) 100 150 200 250 300 -50 -25 0 25 50 75 100 125 turn-off propagation delay (ns max. temperature ( o c) typ. min. temperature ( o c) ) max. typ. min. figure 5: t on vs. temperature figure 6: t off vs. temperature 50.0 75.0 100.0 125.0 150.0 -50-250 25507510012 o turn-on rise time (ns) typ. 5 temperature ( c) max. min. 15 30 45 60 75 -50 -25 0 25 50 75 100 125 o turn-off fall time (ns) temperature ( c) - typ. max. min. figure 7: t r vs. temperature figure 8: t f vs. temperature
