Description
TheEnvisiumPowerPLCC-4SMTLEDisanextensionof Avago's PLCC-4 SMT LEDs. The package can be driven athighcurrentduetoitssuperiorpackagedesign.The product is able to dissipate the heat more efficiently comparedtotheconventionalPLCC-2SMTLEDs.These LEDsproducehigherlightoutputwithbetterfluxperformancecomparedtotheconventionalPLCC-4SMTLEDs. TheEnvisiumPowerPLCC-4SMTLEDsaredesignedfor higher reliability, better performance, and operate underawiderangeofenvironmentalconditions.Theperformancecharacteristicsofthesenewmid-powerLEDs makethemuniquelysuitableforuseinharshconditions such as in automotive applications, and in electronics signsandsignals. Tofacilitateeasypickandplaceassembly,theLEDsare packed in EIA-compliant tape and reel. Every reel is shippedinsingleintensityandcolorbin(exceptforred), toprovidecloseuniformity.TheseLEDsarecompatible withtheIRsolderreflowprocess.Duetothehighreliabilityfeatureoftheseproducts,theyalsocanbemounted usingthrough-the-wavesolderingprocess. TheEnvisiumPowerPLCC-4SMTLEDisavailablein3colors,red,red-orangeandamber.
